How do I order something I see on this website?

Each “Look” provides shopping and contact information from the corresponding boutique.

How long will each “Look” stay on the website?

Participating boutiques have the option of sending us new “Looks” as often as they wish, in conjunction with the arrival of new inventory. Each submitted “Look” will remain on the website until it sells out, and older looks are archived on the individual boutique pages.

My neighborhood is not in the drop-down list

StyleByCommittee.com would love to include stores in your area. Please contact us via the “Contact” page, and we can talk about getting this accomplished.

Why can’t I purchase directly from this site?

The goal of StyleByCommittee.com is to promote the benefits of face-to-face interaction between shoppers and boutiques: the ability to try items on before committing to a purchase, getting advice from the store owner, seeing items paired with one another, etc.
The “Neighborhood Locator” feature strives to help you find items and stores that are physically within your reach, so that you can still enjoy the convenience of shopping as you would online.

What if I see something on the website, and then I drive to the store and it’s no longer available?

Participating boutiques are required to inform StyleByCommittee.com when an item sells out, so that we can update the website immediately. Boutiques typically order only a few of each item, so they are very aware of how much inventory they have left.
